Romans 15:13 Hope, love, and education for children in Uganda Our Purpose Living Hope exists to open the door of education to children in Uganda — giving them the tools, mentorship, and dignity to build a fuller, God-honoring life. In 2022, Betty Elliott traveled to Uganda on a church mission trip to share the Gospel and deliver food and medical supplies to families living on the islands of Lake Victoria. Her interpreter was a young man named Mukisa Livingstone. As he shared his dream of attending university, Betty felt a special connection to him. Having served as a university professor, she understood the transformative power of education and how it can open doors to a fuller, more productive life while following God’s calling.
